We are a group of neighbors at Woodlake Condominiums in San Mateo, CA who are concerned about preserving the quality of life at Woodlake.

About Woodlake
Woodlake is a beautiful, nearly 1,000-unit planned community in San Mateo, spanning 30 acres of land. Completed in 1965, the community is the result of a collaboration between developer Gerson Baker, the architectural firm Wurster, Bernardi & Emmons, and award-winning landscape designer Lawrence Halprin. Woodlake was designed to promote a sense of belonging and unity. The condos and townhouses are arranged into five distinct clusters, each with a shared courtyard and rectangular pool. The heart of Woodlake features a serene lake with a central fountain as its focal point. The lake is surrounded by meandering pathways, lush lawns, majestic trees, and inviting benches, providing residents with spaces for reflection and socializing with neighbors. Adjacent to the lake is a large, amoeba-shaped central pool designed for lap swimming. A recreation zone also includes tennis courts, a putting green, and a clubhouse, offering residents various options for leisure and physical activities. The layout of Woodlake minimizes vehicular traffic within the complex by confining access roads and parking to the periphery. This design creates a park-like setting and a pedestrian-friendly atmosphere, making it a peaceful retreat from the urban hustle and bustle of the Bay Area.

January 11, 2024
Woodlake announced the list of Candidates and the timeline for the election. Ballots will be mailed to owners in 30 days.
February 10, 2024
Ballots will be mailed to owners.
March 12, 2024
- 3pm – deadline for mailed or delivered ballots to the Inspector of Elections, Woodlake Association, c/o O’Toole Rogers, LLP, 3650 Mt. Diablo Blvd., Suite 180, Lafayette, CA 94549
- 6pm-6:30pm – deadline for hand delivered ballots to the Inspector of Elections onsite at the Woodlake Clubhouse. Once the meeting starts and the ballot counting commences, no further ballots will be accepted.
- 6:30pm – Woodlake Annual Election in person at the Woodlake Clubhouse, 790 N. Delaware Street, San Mateo, CA 94401. Members my also attend virtually via Zoom.
- Annual Meeting was adjourned because the required number of ballots for a quorum were not received. The meeting will reconvene on March 27, 2024.
March 27, 2024
- 3:00pm – Deadline to submit ballots.
- 6:30pm – Annual meeting will reconvene and ballots will be counted.
